Education

What former apprentices say about their training at BREITNER:

Apprenticeship as electronic technician for automation technology at BREITNER

My training at BREITNER was divided into three “phases”: The first half year was the basic mechanical training. Here we learned the basic skills of filing, drilling, welding etc. Afterwards I changed to the electrical department and started soldering and learned how to use electrical tools. After building the basic circuits I went to the assembly department to set up machines and install the electrics, at first together with a journeyman, later increasingly alone. As a medium-sized company, BREITNER attaches particular importance to working independently. Basic mechanical training plays a very important role here, as mechanical skills are required for most projects. The training is an absolute “all-rounder” so to speak.

Training as an industrial mechanic at BREITNER

What I particularly liked about my training at BREITNER was that you were allowed to work in the production department from the very beginning. This helped me tremendously and helped me to make the step towards becoming a skilled worker after my apprenticeship. In addition to my personal development, the collegial interaction with each other at BREITNER is really very good. Every colleague is very helpful and nice. At BREITNER, you are very well prepared for what to expect after your training.
